Baseline Ranch and Kennel is owned and operated by Wayne and Jana Lown. We are proud to offer a full-service kennel with services ranging from producing quality puppies to complete gun dog training. We offer a modern state licensed facility with 30 indoor runs in southwest Missouri, with two full time trainers on staff and plenty of ground to develop your special hunting companion. We train all pointing breeds and specialize in German Shorthairs. We offer individualized training methods to suit the different needs of each dog. We invite you to call and discuss your gun dog needs, or better yet, come visit us.

Our selective breeding program produces class gun dogs for the foot handler to competitive field trial prospects. Our progeny are placing consistently in both walking and horseback trials.

At Baseline we are proud to offer you the services of our modern facility at which we pride ourselves in keeping clean and disease free. Therefore, all dogs are required to have a current health certificate before entering. We require this for the protection of your dog's health as well as our own dog's.

We offer puppies from some of the top bloodlines in the nation. We take particular care in choosing the right bloodline and type of dog to breed to our line bred females in order to produce genetically talented, biddable, classy gun dogs. Our breeding program not only produces class hunting companions, but competitive field trial dogs as well. We keep select males from those breedings available for stud services. Periodically we have started, broke and finished dogs.
